For the Tofu
  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.
  2. Cut the tofu into cubes. Transfer the tofu to a bowl, add the cornstarch & toss them around until they are fully covered. Repeat the process with the oil.
  3. Bake them for 20 - 25 minutes, or until they’re golden brown. Set aside.
For the Sauce
  1. In a medium size pan, heat up the oil & sauté the garlic until it becomes aromatic.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into a bowl & whisk until they come together.
  3. Add the mixture to the pan & whisk until it starts to thicken. Cook it for 3-4 minutes more, whisking continuously. Add the tofu, stir to make sure the tofu is fully covered.
  4. Serve with rice.

Notes

Leftover sauce can be kept on the fridge for up to a week.
