Parmesan French Toast

Sweet French toast are delicious, but if you are like me and you prefer something savory in the morning these Parmesan French Toast are for you! Cheesy, delicious and super easy to make covered on a delicious hollandaise sauce.

Not only this quick brunch is super easy to make but the ingredients are probably already in your pantry; you will need your favorite bread, non-dairy milk of choice, a few seasonings and my favorite vegan staple nutritional yeast. You will have a delicious, savory and cheese brunch in 20 minutes or less, this recipe can easily be double, or tripled for more guests!

To make the hollandaise sauce you will need some vegan butter as well as vegan mayo, more nooch, turmeric to add that gorgeous eggy colour, some black salt and pepper, it only takes 15 minutes to make and it compliments these Parmesan French Toast perfectly. You will definably want to take the extra time to make it to elevate the recipe.

However if you are looking for something different for breakfast you can try some of my favorite savory breakfasts ideas:

  • These Ham & Cheese Biscuits are perfect as a part of brunch, paired with other delicious brunch item like my delicious Duchess Potatoes or by themselves, with a little bit of vegan butter.

  • If you are feeling more fancy these Cream Cheese & Smoked Salmon Crepes are incredible, and will leave anyone who tries them speechless.

  • If bagels are your go to, these Asiago & Mozzarella Jalapeno Bagels from the Tim Hortons Copycat Series are the ones you want to make, they will take a little bit longer than the other ones from these list but they are SO worth it (plus they freeze!)
