Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together until combined. Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl. If you hand a stand mixer, I suggest you use it to help you out, the kneading of this dough can be exhausting. You can knead it by hand of course, it will just take a bit longer (and it will be a great workout!)
- Once you have a dough, continue kneading for 8 minutes if you are using a stand mixer, or 12 minutes if you are doing it by hand.
- You should have a stiff, hard dough. Now it’s time to shape it.
- Turn the dough into a ball. Brush with 1 tablespoon of the graze before rolling into ham shape using a square of aluminum paper, enclose it and pull it tight around it until it is smooth, roll the dough into "ham" shape. If you feel like making it a bit more fancy, use cooking thread to tighten it a bit more, making the same shape hams have. Wrap another piece of aluminum foil around it.
- Bake it for an hour and 20 minutes, flipping the “ham” every 20 minutes to assure it cooks evenly.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool down completely. Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Once it has cooled down, cut your roast into diamond shape (like seen in the picture).
- Mix all the glaze ingredients well together, until you have a smooth sauce.
- Using a kitchen brush, brush the roast with the glaze leaving half of it aside. Cover up the roast with aluminum paper and bake it for 15 minutes.
- Remove the cover, brush the roast with the remaining glaze. Bake for an extra 20 minutes.
- Serve hot!
